Puppies will be released to their new owners when the balance is paid in full.  Puppy deposits are non-refundable. Puppy deposits can be carried over to a future litter.

Remaining Balances are due when the puppies are born. Remaining Balances can include the Remaining Balance and / or Breeding Rights/Full Registration.

If Remaining Balances are not paid within seven days of the litter being born, we reserve the right to rehome your puppy to another buyer. We will move your deposit, and any other fees paid, to a future litter, less $150 rehoming fee.

Please note: Rehoboth Farms of NC LLC reserves the right of
1st Selection Male and / or 1st Selection Female from all litters,
for breeding purposes. Decisions on keeping a male or female from any litter
are made when the litters are born. This means there is always the possibility of
buyers moving one spot down in the Selection Order.

Puppy Selection:

Puppy selection is based on order of deposit received. You may select your puppy between weeks 4-5 of age via the web or personal visit.  We ask that you please select your new pup within a three-day time frame once pictures are posted or via personal visit to our farm. At the time of deposit, you will be asked to provide information on your desired puppy, specifically: gender and coloring (all-white or badger-marked).  You will be assigned your number in the puppy selection process.  For example, if you desire a male pup, you might be "1st Selection Male", which means you have first choice in selecting from the male puppies, or "3rd Selection Female", meaning you have third selection from the females in that litter.

If we cannot provide you with your puppy of choice (gender and / or coloring), you can wait for a future litter. Your deposit will be applied to a future litter for up to two years.  We have 7 litters per year.  For those selecting your puppy via the web, we will work closely with you to hear your needs and find the right puppy that meets the needs of your family.  We understand that this is a lifelong commitment, and we want you to be pleased with your new little addition. We do our best to ensure you receive your puppy of choice, but we cannot control the size of the litters or coloring of puppies that will be born.  We take 8 deposits per litter and our average size litter is 9 puppies.

Please note: You will have three days from Puppy Selection to select your puppy. If we do not hear from you by the date requested, we reserve the right to re-home your puppy to another buyer. We will move your deposit, and any other fees paid, to a future litter, less $150 rehoming fee.

Breeder has the right to the pick of each litter (1st Selection Male or Female).

Rehoboth Breeding and Breed Information:

We typically raise 7 litters of Great Pyrenees puppies per year.

Great Pyrenees are extremely intelligent and highly trainable. They adapt well to being kept as inside or outside pets. Their loyalty and desire to please is incredible.  The are very social dogs, and enjoy other animals.  They love to guard.  Whether you have a need for a livestock guardian dog or a family pet, the Great Pyrenees will guard whatever is part of their territory. They are super sweet and gentle and are wonderful with children.

Our puppies are raised in a nurturing environment with lots of interaction with children and exposure to various stimuli around the farm to ensure a highly confident and happy puppy. They are de-wormed and vaccinated according to the protocol below. We expose them to "alone time" training (in a very nice 4x8 kennel, climate controlled room) and allow them to spend periods of time separated from their litter mates by 7 weeks of age to ease with transition to their new homes.

Care of Puppies:

Our puppies live in a climate-controlled puppy nursery across from our home and receive lots of love from us humans.  They  have access to the outdoors when they reach 6 weeks of age and momma and daddy dog are with them 24/7 teaching them to be good, respectful and obedient puppies.  Our puppies are well socialized and very affectionate.  We spend time with them daily as puppies and give them lots of tender loving care.

The pups enjoy being around adults, children, other dogs, goats, horses and chickens; because of this, they adapt well to any household environment.

Please note: We do not receive any payment of any kind from the following providers. We have simply found them to be viable resources.

We recently came across a helpful homeopathic pet care site and invite you to visit:

We believe providing the highest quality nutrition is extremely important in the growth and development of our puppies, and we feed and recommend only premium adult and puppy formulas.  Our puppies are introduced to solid food beginning at 3 weeks of age and are allowed to follow a natural weaning schedule determined by the mother which usually results in them being naturally weaned by 5 weeks of age.  We raise our puppies and breeding dogs on a high protein natural puppy formula made by Diamond, which can be purchased at your local pet stores.  It contains no wheat, no corn, no soy and no additives.

We ask that you keep your puppy on a natural puppy formula that contains no wheat, no corn, and no soy for the first year of their life with at least 26% protein, and 15% fat.  If you cannot find the Diamond brand in your area, Innova Puppy Food or Blue Wilderness Puppy Food are excellent and can be purchased at PetsMart or PetCo nationwide. After one year, please keep your growing dog on a natural diet made for large breed dogs (again no wheat, no corn, no soy diet with high protein and fat).  We have found this diet to be wonderful for our dogs to ensure healthy, happy and longevity of life.

Innova Puppy Food can be purchased at Petsmart or Petco.  Look at these wonderful ingredients:

We begin puppy vaccination at 7 weeks of age (Intervet Progard DPV, distemper and parvo), and de-worming at 3 weeks, 5weeks, 7 weeks, and then every month for the first 7 month of a puppy's life. We do not like to begin earlier, as mother's milk provides immunity for the puppy's first several weeks of life.  Per our doctor's recommendation and research we have done, beginning earlier does not help the puppy, but can actually weaken the puppy's immune system.  We also recommend quarterly de-worming with the use of Fenbendazole, which kills all canine worms.

We recommend you make an appointment within 3 days to have your puppy see your vet.

    Recommended Vaccines:

Distemper/Parvo at 8 weeks, 16 weeks and 24 weeks of age, and rabies at 6 month, followed by a 1-year booster, and then every 3 years.  Once your puppy has had their vaccines before the age of 6 months, they do not need a booster (except for rabies).  Please read the following link for more information:

Over-vaccination is being linked to cancer and animal aggression.  Please use wisdom in the vaccinations you administer to your dog.

As much as possible, we like to approach our dogs using natural and holistic care.  The following books provide wonderful information on this approach.

    1. Dr. Khalsa's Natural Dog: A Holistic Guide for Healthier Dogs
    2. The Doctors Book of Home Remedies for Dogs and Cats
